Project 151 Team Members meet Friday afternoon to discuss plans for moving forward with safety recommendations to Route 151 & 6

This past week Project 151 Team Members met to talk about plans for their upcoming campaign for traffic safety along Route 151 and 6 in Nelson County. The core group of about 10 members was formed to address the serious traffic safety issues facing 151 & 6 after the tragic loss of live in the August 30, 2007 accident at 151 and Greenfield Road.

In the coming days the team will be presenting several specific plans for improved safety along 151 & 6. Eventually these items will be presented directly to the governor in a future meeting.

  1. With the permission of the family, I think it would be nice if we also put up a sign or some kind of remebrance of the victims at the intersection of the August 30 accident saying:

I didnt know the people involved but there but for the grace of God go any of us …

Let me know how I can help
